Historic rains and flooding has inundated most of Chennai metropolis, Cuddalore and surrounding areas. For the past two weeks we saw and heard the horrifying stories of our friends & families struggling in Chennai to survive dangerous conditions losing everything except hope. Mother nature had tested the resilience of our people and our people have proved their strength and raised up to the occasion to help themselves and others.

We have heard extra ordinary stories of human compassion and bravery during these flooding and the days that followed. But we can’t sit in sidelines and let them face those hurdles alone. We feel for our mother land and feel deeply for our sisters, brothers and friends. Now the immediate danger has passed it is time for us to support for rehabilitation of our people.

TSCI is organizing a Flood Relief fundraiser for Tamilnadu to provide aid for those afflicted by the calamity. Please support the efforts and donate generously. As always be assured, we will take utmost care in making sure the money contributed is used for the right purpose and will reach the people who really need them. We will send you an update who the funds helped to relieve the pain and agony of our sisters and brothers in Tamilnadu.
